CBT Staff

Each CBT trip is staffed with experienced and knowledgeable guides. Because an exceptional trip demands an exceptional guide, we go to great lengths to ensure we hire only the best, thoroughly screening and training all candidates. One thing we look for in prospective guides is their ability to handle group dynamics. It's not enough to be an expert mechanic and planner. A CBT guide must be able to maintain harmony among fellow travelers so that the trip is enjoyable and memorable for all.

Like our participants, CBT guides are a diverse bunch, all having first hand experience with European culture and customs and each speaking at least 3 languages. You'll find our staff to be friendly, outgoing people who share your love of travel. You'll also appreciate their responsiveness and personal attention to everyone on the tour.

Valentin

Lives in Geneva, Switzerland and besides being an ex pro biker, ex pro snowboarder, ex ski teacher, ex CEO and boat builder, in his spare time he's a web designer & project manager. He's covered half the planet on his various bikes, and could easily convince anyone to sit on a bike saddle and enjoy life from there!

Jan

Lives in Prague, Czech Republic and besides being a marathon runner, soccer journalist, performing singer and full time Prague walking tour guide, he's studied at the Sorbonne in France and has an enthusiasm and passion for European/world history that will be sure to keep all of your questions answered!

Yvonne

Lives in Geneva, Switzerland and besides being possibly the most enthusiastic guide we've ever had, she's traveled extensively on 5 continents by bike, motorcycle and foot and has a life's ambition to try any and every outdoor activity out there!

Primoz

Lives in Ljubljana, Slovenia and besides being an ex professional alpine and freestyle skiier for many years, he currently owns a ski club for youth and is a trainer for several professional skiiers. He's cycled extensively all over Europe, Asia, Australia and South America and is also an avid climber and kayaker!

Matej

Is originally from Kosice, Slovakia, but currently lives in Padova, Italy. Besides being a political philosophy expert and a member of a the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe for political elections, he's studied at the Sorbonne in France and has cycled extensively throughout Europe.
