Accommodations

Depending on your itinerary, you'll stay at a mix of distinctive hotels, villas, pensions, and bed-and-breakfasts. Many properties are family affairs, whose owners take a personal interest in hearing you recap your travel day. The majority of the hotels we use are rated 3-stars, with some 2 and 4-star properties along the way.

Trip prices are based on double-occupancy rooms, though single occupancy upgrades are commonly available. If you're traveling single and don't require a single room, we will do our best to pair you with another solo traveler as a roommate.

Character and cleanliness are the two most important criteria we use to select our lodgings. All rooms offer private showers and toilettes, including cabins on our Bike and Boat tours, where part of your lodging is spent on board a chartered boat.
